Privacy Policy

PasteUp is designed to be local-first. We do not require an account, do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and do not sell or use your information for tracking.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how PasteUp: Meme Maker & Collage (“PasteUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the iOS app.

Your boards and creative content

Boards, imported photos, text, drawings, stickers, exports, and related thumbnails are created and stored on your device. PasteUp does not upload this content to a developer-operated server.

PasteUp Plus offers an optional iCloud sync feature. If you turn it on, your boards and related assets are stored in your own iCloud Drive account using Apple’s iCloud service so they can be available on your devices. You can turn off iCloud sync at any time in PasteUp’s settings. We do not have access to your Apple Account credentials.

Photos, files, and clipboard

PasteUp accesses a photo, file, or clipboard image only when you choose to add it to a board or save an export. This content is used to provide the editing feature you requested. PasteUp does not use your photos, files, or clipboard content for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Optional sticker library

When you choose to browse or download an optional sticker, PasteUp connects to pasteup.hlongvu.com to retrieve the public sticker catalog and the sticker you selected. As with any web request, the hosting service may process technical request data, such as IP address and device/network information, to deliver and secure the content. We do not use this information to identify you, build a profile about you, or track you across apps or websites.

Purchases

PasteUp Plus purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your payment card number or billing information. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising or tracking. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media SDKs. The only services involved are Apple’s services when you use iCloud or make an App Store purchase, and the static hosting service used to deliver the optional public sticker library.

Retention and deletion

Your local boards and assets remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, copies may remain in your iCloud Drive until you delete the boards or manage the files through iCloud. Turning off iCloud sync stops future syncing; it does not automatically delete existing iCloud copies.

Your choices

You control whether to import photos or files, use clipboard content, enable iCloud sync, browse the sticker library, or make a purchase. You can revoke photo access in iOS Settings and can delete local content from within PasteUp or by removing the app.

Children’s privacy

PasteUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when PasteUp’s features or data practices change. The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy was most recently revised.
